Why we like it: Great for bakers who’re just starting out.
Everyone has to start somewhere, and we think this set by Calphalon is great for those just starting out with baking. It’s plain black so it’s not very vivid, but it gets the job done. There are 6 pieces in this set, so a little less than the previous one, but you also don’t need that many if you’re a beginner. You can add to your collection as you go along. It’s also a good option for families who want to bake something simple from time to time, and not really stock up on too many things.
Getting to the structure and design, this is incredibly durable and sturdy especially because of the heavy-gauge steel core that’s been incorporated. Plus, it also helps with even heating, avoiding those dreaded hot spots that can ruin a good dish. All your cakes and cookies will come out well-cooked through. Furthermore, each piece features inter-locking layers within, which contribute to better performance.
Copper Chef Bake & Crisp Pan
Why we like it: Beautiful copper color and a straightforward baking set.
With just 4 pieces to this set, it’s quite a basic and simple option. It’s also a lovely copper color, which adds an extra bit of oomph to your kitchen. Not only is it non-stick, it comes with an easy lift tray, an adjustable self-slicing separator, as well as a bake & roast pan and storage lid. Though this may not be enough for serious bakers, it would do quite nicely for a small family for instance or a couple.

Why we like it: 15 whole pieces, and it’s glass!
Glass bakeware sets are absolutely stunning, and they are so sleek and sophisticated, they can pull any kitchen together. Of course, you do need to be careful with them, although they don’t usually break so easily. This set by Anchor Hooking comes with 15 pieces, including a casserole dish, pie plate, measuring cup, mixing bowl and custard cups with lids. We most probably got you a little hungry there!
If you’d like a glass bakeware set that costs less, you can opt for their other sets, the 5-piece, 4-piece and 3-piece respectively. Their bakeware is tempered, ensuring optimum durability so you can look forward to enjoying it for a long time yet. Additionally, we were happy to see the 5-year warranty it comes with as well. And the good thing about using glass bakeware is that the risk of chemicals, warping, staining and so on is pretty much non-existent. This glass is also safe for the microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, while all lids are also BPA free.

Why we like it: Very affordable, and comes in a lovely deep chocolate brown.
We love how deep and inviting the color of this set is, and we especially love how affordable it is. It’s so far the cheapest set on our list, and it comes with 5 pieces as well, which is quite alright. It’s also non-stick so you needn’t worry about juggling food out of the pan, and this too comes with a heavy-gauge steel build that’s great for preventing warping.
The raised circles at the bottom of the pans we found, were excellent for enhancing the non-stick performance, while this also means easy clean-up afterward. Though it is dishwasher-safe, however, it’s advised to hand-wash whenever possible. The wide, rolled-rim handles complete with rolled-rim edges make for convenient handling as well, and best of all, they give you a lifetime guarantee for your complete peace of mind.
Gotham Steel Copper Bakeware Set

Why we like it: We hope this is what they use in Batman’s city…
Well in our defense, it does say Gotham Steel so. But aside from that, this bakeware set caught our eye for many different reasons. For starters, this too is a gorgeous copper set which makes us think we may just be drawn to copper in general, but secondly, it also includes non-stick Ti-Cerama coating and a reinforced 0.8mm gauge for added strength. The entire set consists of a cookie sheet, muffin pan, baking pan, loaf pan and round baking pan, which we think is quite versatile.
It’s most notable feature is that it doesn’t need any oil or butter to get the job done. So if you’re health-conscious or for health reasons are unable to eat either of these, this is the baking set for you. You needn’t worry about putting your health at further risk, and can instead indulge in a few treats. Which we think is always a good idea! Additionally, it’s also dishwasher-safe so you can relax about having to clean-up afterward as well.
OvenStuff Non-Stick Toaster Oven Baking Pan Set
Why we like it: Great name and all the ‘oven stuff’ you’d need to get baking.
It’s quite basic as you might imagine, so it’s not for any super fancy baking endeavors or anything, but you can definitely brighten up a dull day with some baking with this set. Complete with 6 pieces, the set includes a pizza pan, cookie pan, cooling rack, broil pan, and what they call Fat-A-Way Bake, a name we really like by the way! However, it’s not really for large groups or gatherings, since this set is sufficient for single servings.
We also found that the DuraGlide non-stick finish helped easily remove food from the pan, without the need to fiddle about with various tools and equipment. It also doesn’t leave any residue stuck to the bottom, so you can clean in a breeze. They’ve not compromised on quality, making use of high-quality steel for the construction which not only helps with even heat distribution but also durability.
Vremi 6 Piece Nonstick Bakeware Set

Why we like it: Budget-friendly, and comes in two other options for more choice.
This is Vremi’s 6-piece non-stick bakeware set, and they’ve got a 3-piece and 12-piece as well. The complete set is inclusive of a baking sheet, cake loaf pan, muffin pans, large roasting pan and square baking pan. The handles are also large and feature red silicone handles, whilst the pans themselves are made of non-stick carbon steel metal that are also BPA free. You can make both square and round cakes with this set, so you have more variety in your baking as well.
We thought this set was quite tough and sturdy, and it’s also scratch-resistant as well as crack-proof, so it’s great for homes with kids who’d like to try their hand at baking. They may drop or not know how to use cutlery properly, but that’s not a problem here. Plus, you can look forward to even heating throughout the pans, so you don’t have to worry about your baking coming out amateurish. This set is also compatible with both standard and convection ovens. No dishwashing though, just gentle handwashing with soap and water.

Why we like it: A great baking set for special occasions.
Though we know that the square and round pans this set comes with aren’t especially astounding on their own, when you add them to the heart-shaped pan, you have a party. You can make layered cakes of interesting shapes for special events and functions, and 3 pieces are perfectly fine for such occasions from time to time. You can quickly whip up a birthday cake, tarts and more, along with a string of other sweet treats. Actually, this would even make a lovely gift for someone who likes baking, such as your mum.
This set too comes with pans that include antirust heavy-gauge carbon-coated steel, with a waffle-textured bottom that makes it super easy to remove food. Aside from also being easy to clean, the bottom of the pans are also removable, so it becomes even more convenient. It’s also dishwasher- safe, but they do recommend handwashing.
